We Need More Private Sector LEADERS

What is happening now should shatter paradigms on how we qualify our governors and presidents.

Trump is showing everyone how important it is that we stop this closed loop corrupt system of career politicians running everything in our government.

I still see the media’s grip on people as they expect that our next presidential candidates or governors can only be from the career political class that constant work the media circuit.

You can make a career out of being a government employee and I don’t have a problem with that. We need great people who know their jobs.

But when it comes to positions of power that lead other people, I think we need to carefully evaluate HOW WE PICK THEM as opposed to letting the media tell us.

Legislators are very important for our lives and we need install strict term limits to keep new blood circulating into those positions.

But executives can make or break your organization and that is why need to be carefully scrutinized.

Personally this where I think we need to be pulling more LEADERS from the private sector. Business leaders already manage complex organizations and live in the reality of budgets. Because no one is printing money for them in the private sector.

Most importantly, I think a private sector leaders would be more brave to challenge inefficiency in the system, where as a legislator, to contrast, will want to preserve the status quo.

I’m not saying EVERY private sector executive qualifies. But the good news is we have hundreds of thousands of them to pick from. But what I am saying is career politicians and legislators should be avoided as much as possible.

The end solution should look like private sector individuals doing their civic duty by running for office for that term and them returning to the private sector when done. That is when we know we have leaders that are closely aligned with the people of this country and not an elite political class that will just try to heard us for the farmers to ultimately slaughter.
